I liked and used Daiko rods. I don't do much bass fishing, and I bought this rod to use when I was invited to go. It was a versatile length and had a wide lure weight range, making it easy to use. I've only used it once or twice. The cork grip still has the film on it. I washed it with water after each fishing trip and stored it carefully, so it's in perfect condition with no scratches.
