This is a short omnibus film based on a number of Showa-era (1926-1989) kayokyoku (popular songs). It features "Boku wa Nai Chitchi," directed by Michiru Isozumi of "Kaika," which depicts the youth of men and women in a Showa atmosphere; "Aitakute Aitakute," a collaboration between director Shinobu Yaguchi of "Waterboys" and Satoshi Tsumabuki; and "Itoshi no Max," an absurd comedy starring Shinji Takeda and directed by manga artist Yoshikazu Ebisu. This diverse collection features 11 unique stories from a variety of directors and a star-studded cast.
