Purchased last year at the British Fair at Tsuruya Department Store in Kumamoto, this is an antique English teacup trio set. It's a lovely trio set featuring a stylish gray ribbon-like pattern with a fiery red design. The shop owner told me that it's approximately 80 years old or more. The gold rim is made of 18-karat gold, giving it a luxurious feel. Teacups are also said to be increasing in price these days, so I highly recommend it to anyone who's been interested. I think it's in very beautiful condition, considering it's from around 80 years ago (around 1947). I've only used it for display since I bought it, so it's never been used. Tuscan was founded in 1878 in Staffordshire, England, by R.H. Plant. Tuscan was already a wonderful family-run manufacturer, but it became famous after merging with Susie Cooper in the 1950s. In 1966, the holding company was acquired by Wedgwood, and the R.H. & S.L.
