This is a recorder and monitor set. Everything in the photos is included. Playback works, and the picture displays without issue. Neither unit has a remote control. Recorder (made in 2002) Monitor (13-inch, made in 2005) Fast forward and rewind functions work without problems. The monitor has some minor surface stains (likely due to age). I checked for dead pixels and didn't see any, but there might be some. An HDMI adapter and a 5-meter cable are also included. You can use this to watch on your home TV. I don't smoke or have pets, so I believe there are no odors. Thank you.
