The two time-shift HDDs have been replaced with durable, server-grade WD Red recycled drives as shown in photo 13, so you can use it with confidence for the foreseeable future. By combining the "Time Shift Machine" which can temporarily store 6 channels of terrestrial digital broadcasts, and "Dual Recording", you can record up to 8 programs simultaneously. You can record 6 channels of terrestrial digital broadcasts with time-shift, and 2 channels from terrestrial, BS, and 110-degree CS digital broadcasts with normal recording, so you don't have to worry even if the programs you want to watch overlap. ＜Maintenance Performed＞ ① Completely disassembled the main unit and thoroughly cleaned the accumulated dust inside. ② Thoroughly cleaned and greased the case fan, HDD fan, and board fan (to avoid fan errors, a common issue with this model). ③ Cleaned the BD drive pickup. ④ Replaced the two time-shift HDDs with durable HDDs, and performed inspection checks (all 3 HDDs passed the CrystalDiskInfo health check). ＜Check Items＞ ① Confirmed reception and recording of terrestrial digital, BS, and CS broadcasts. ② Confirmed playback of DVD and BD discs, and initialization of new discs. ③ Tested time-shift recording of 6 channels. ④ Tested transferring recordings from time-shift data to the normal HDD. ⑤ Confirmed DLNA playback. ＜Accessories＞ New generic remote control 1 red B-CAS card 1 blue mini B-CAS card 2 printed manuals ＜Notes＞ ■ This unit is currently in working order.
