The number of cards is as follows: 3 for the special prize round menko (3 cards x 1 set, total 3 cards), 4 for the first prize (4 cards x 1 set, total 4 cards), 4 each for the second prize (4 cards x 3 sets, total 12 cards), 3 each for the third prize (3 cards x 2 sets, total 6 cards), and 4 for the first prize square menko (4 cards x 1 set, total 4 cards), for a total of 29 cards.
