This is a Chinese-made puffed rice machine that I bought on Amazon out of curiosity. I've used it about three times and have been able to make puffed rice successfully. The small gourd is apparently the manufacturer's trademark, and it doesn't seem to affect the functionality. I don't plan to use it anymore, so I'm offering it at a low price to anyone who wants to try it.
