PlatSil Deadener LV has a lower viscosity compared to Smiths Theatrical Prosthetic Deadener. Add PlatSil Deadener LV up to 300% of the total mixed weight of the PlatSil Gel mixture (Part A and Part B). Adding 300% PlatSil Deadener LV will produce a super gel that is very soft and sticky when cured. Conduct a test cure beforehand to determine the appropriate amount to add to the appliance. To mimic the surface tension of skin, some people choose to apply a thin layer, or "skin," of deadened PlatSil@ gel to the back of the non-deadened PlatSil@ gel.
