I found this while organizing a storage space. It appears to be merchandise released overseas in the 1990s. It's a clochette, a type of key case that hangs around the neck. You attach keys to the ring, and then enclose them in a Totoro-shaped genuine leather case. You can freely pull out the keys when you need to use them. The material appears to be sealskin, likely from sea lions or seals, which has been embroidered and sewn to create the Totoro design. *The back may be cowhide or sheepskin, not sealskin. The words "My Neighbor Totoro," the English title of Tonari no Totoro, are embossed on the back. I've researched extensively, but there are no similar items listed on flea market or auction sites, including Mercari, so I believe this is a very rare item. Overall, there is no major damage, but a part of Totoro's forehead is scuffed (peeled). Please understand that this is a used item, as it has been stored at home. Instant purchase is welcome.
