I tried these well-regarded Original Flexocor strings on my wood bass, but I immediately replaced the A and E strings with other strings, so there are no kinks in the windings where they rest on the bridge. However, the E string has slight unevenness in the winding due to the string being wound around the tuning peg, but this is not in the playing area, so there is no problem.
