We mostly travel by car, so we don't use the stroller very often, but this has been attached to the stroller for about two years after purchase. The color is black. It may be due to being left on the stroller, but there is some sun fading or discoloration. There are also some scratches on the metal parts. It shows a fair amount of use, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
