When you hear "linen," you tend to imagine something high-quality, but this is more like "barn" linen than "hotel" linen. Being military surplus, the rustic fabric texture is part of its charm. You can imagine it being used as a pillow by stuffing it with things like jackets or towels. It's convenient to use as a pillow by stuffing it with a towel blanket or the like and placing it on your bed. I personally love and use it a lot. It's highly recommended as an interior bedding item with character. It has a rough, coarse texture when you first start using it, which might bother some people, but it will become soft and supple with repeated washing and ironing. While not as cold as cooling fabric, I find linen pillowcases that offer a cool, natural touch to be very useful. Approximately 82cm x 25cm diameter.
