The chapter is named after the waka poem "In the evening mist that gathers in the mountain village, I feel as if there is no sky to emerge into" composed by Yugiri (mentioned below) for Ochiba no Miya. Yugiri is also a fictional character in The Tale of Genji. Also known as General Yugiri. He is the (publicly recognized) eldest son of Hikaru Genji. His mother is Aoi no Ue. The name Yugiri was given to him by later generations, after the chapter in which he is the central figure.
