It's a navy houndstooth pattern, almost black. It's difficult to tell whether it's black or navy. I've worn it about twice. The skirt is an eight-panel flared skirt with a side zipper. The fabric is made in Italy and contains silk, giving it a slight sheen and a luxurious feel.
