This is a calligraphy book I bought a long time ago. Since it is a used item, please refrain from purchasing if you are nervous about the condition. It seems that practicing calligraphy by copying Chinese classics will improve your calligraphy skills. The teacher I am learning from is incredibly skilled. However, the teacher's writing is the result of a lot of copying. To use a cooking analogy, it's like haute cuisine. But to become good at cooking, you have to learn about seasoning, plating, simmering, grilling, how to sharpen a knife, and so on. That's what the meaning of copying is, apparently. This is what I was taught when I was a student of my teacher a long time ago.
