With the included inserts, you can carry 3 M4 magazines, and a total of 5 with the use of the side expansion pouches. Both attach with Velcro. The inserts are quite sturdy. There are two pockets in the center. There are also two pockets for Pistol Mags and tools. You can use them according to your needs. *Non-removable The back of the utility pouch has a MOLLE system, so it can be attached to the bottom of the chest rig or a compatible belt.
