Serge Lancen is a French composer known in the Japanese wind band world for his "Manhattan Symphony." He was a genius composer who, at the age of 28 in 1950, received the Grand Prix de Rome, the highest honor for a musician. "Ouverture pour un matin d'automne" (Overture for an Autumn Morning) is a well-known Lancen masterpiece. It's an imported score, and I believe there is almost no domestic stock.
