A teapot by Burleigh (Burgess & Leigh), England, made in 1984, featuring a slightly mysterious landscape reminiscent of Japonisme and Chinoiserie, depicted in copper plate transferware. (This model is also displayed at the V&A Museum in London. Items in usable condition are quite rare.) #BritishVintage♤ #Antique_Brocanter♧ Height: 16.5cm Length: 15cm Width: 12cm (Length including handle: 25cm) There is some fading of the gold trim, areas with kiln marks called "furimono" where ash from the kiln adhered during firing, and irregularities in the ceramic clay on the inside of the lid (manufacturing-related). ※Originally, a matching saucer was likely included, but this is not included. I have tested it by pouring hot water and leaving it overnight to confirm there are no leaks. Overall, it has a beautiful luster and the gold trim shines, maintaining a good condition for an antique. This is a very old item made during the Victorian era. Please check the images carefully before considering a purchase. Shipping costs will be discounted if you purchase it together with other items. Feel free to comment if you have any questions. Purchases without comments are of course welcome, even in the early morning or late at night ⭐︎⡱ Transferware British Vintage British Antique England Vintage England Antique
