Offered for sale as part of a collection clearance. This is a dense fossil of Tetorishijimi (brackish water clams) found in the Tetori Group of Fukui Prefecture. The matrix has been reinforced with adhesive, and the surface has been coated with Paraloid as a protective agent. The matrix is approximately 11 cm long from left to right.
