This is a Kalamazoo-made Epiphone Cortez with a narrow neck, manufactured from the mid to late 1960s. While there are differences in the headstock shape and other external features, it is a model of the same quality as the Gibson-made B25. The saddle height is considerable, and the neck condition is good. An LR Baggs pickup has been retrofitted, making it usable as an acoustic-electric guitar. A strap pin has been added to the neck heel. There is some fret wear, particularly in the lower positions, but the pitch is within an acceptable range in its current state, and it has been used without issue. The frets appear to be original, with lacquer present at the ends. The end pin hole on the bottom has also been enlarged to accommodate the pickup installation. The bridge has been changed from the original plastic to a wooden one. The original plastic bridge is not included. This is a narrow neck model from the period, with a nut width of approximately 40mm.
