I have lost the box, but this is a work by Nakajima Kyoka, a Wajima-nuri artist. The design is a lacquer painting, or maki-e, of lively children at play, a representative motif of the artist. Approximately 25 x 15 x 1 cm. Suitable as a tray for tea and sweets, or as a special plate for serving food. I think it would be fun to use in your daily life. It is in unused, clean condition, but there is a scratch on the back. The paper bag has stains due to aging. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a brand new condition. I am also exhibiting other lacquerware items. I would be grateful if you would take a look. Please consider it for your New Year's preparations.
