Thank you for viewing. I believe this is an Aizu-nuri (Aizu lacquerware) soup bowl set from Sakamoto Otosho Shoten. The design appears to be a fern leaf motif with a luxurious gold maki-e (sprinkled picture) finish. This item was displayed in a recycle shop that primarily buys and sells new, unused items. It was in its original box with a cellophane outer wrapping. One of the lids had its tissue paper removed, allowing the design to be seen. Because fingerprints were present on the inside and outside of that lid, I wiped it with a dry cloth, which unfortunately caused some minor scratches. Originally, each lid and bowl had a thin urethane buffer inside, wrapped with tissue paper. There is a slight white discoloration on the areas where the urethane made contact, which I don't believe is dirt. I think it would be fine if washed, but considering the scratches on the lid, I will ship it as is. Although I believe these are unused as tableware, considering these circumstances, I've rated it as "no noticeable scratches or stains = some minor scratches or stains." Please consider purchasing only if you understand this. I intend to price it accordingly. Some of the tissue paper is missing, so I will substitute with a kitchen bag. Bowl: Approximately 11.2 cm in diameter, approximately 7.6 cm in height (excluding the lid) I will pack it in the original box and reinforce it with recycled cardboard for shipping. I will not sell these individually. If it doesn't sell, I will gradually lower the price to a certain point, so please refrain from price negotiations. This is a pre-owned item that was on display. There may be some damage associated with display and long-term storage.
