With the AF CONVERTER 1.6x, you can shoot with Contax lenses using AF (autofocus) (excluding some lenses). The Planar 50mm F1.4 is a popular lens, often called the emperor of standard lenses. It's a lens that produces very delicate images, but it can be difficult to focus for those unfamiliar with manual lenses. This camera set is highly recommended for those people. When you set the 50mm lens on the AF CONVERTER, it becomes a 1.6x, 80mm medium telephoto lens, and it delivers the best performance for portrait photography. (It's also fun to compare it with the popular 85mm F1.4.) As these are collection lenses, they have been stored in a dehumidified storage unit without being used much, so they are relatively clean.
