Thank you for viewing. This is a coral flower and umbrella motif obi-dome (sash clip) from my maternal great-grandmother, who grew up in an old family in the countryside during the Meiji era. It is a very valuable item. It has a beautiful and elegant antique design, and the back is well-made. It is pink coral, but it uses a large single piece of coral, so I believe it has value. My grandmother regretted it for a long time after she made a hole in it (see photo 4), so I, her granddaughter, had it repaired and restored at a famous coral specialty store. Therefore, it has been recovered to some extent. It would be nice to keep it for generations, but it is unnecessary for our generation, who do not wear kimonos at all, and it would be a shame not to use it, so I would like to sell it to someone who will appreciate it. Please understand that this is an old item. I think it is a very beautiful item except for the repaired parts, but I am not an expert, so please forgive any scratches or minor imperfections.
