This is a Vandoren mouthpiece for classical and concert band use, made in France. For alto saxophone. This is an older type, predating the Optimum, AL3, AP3, and A27 mouthpieces. Back then, there was the A111, which had a wide tip opening, and the A101, which was the standard for concert band and classical music. The tip opening is equivalent to an A27, and it seems to work well with Vandoren blue box #3 reeds. It hasn't been used much, and although there is some discoloration, the part where the reed touches is clean. I'm offering it at a reasonable price for an ebonite, hard rubber mouthpiece. Some discount is possible.
