This is a black formal kimono (kuro-tomesode) with a maru ni umebachi crest. It features auspicious patterns and seasonal plants and trees, as well as waves, making it a very celebratory design. It has been worn about 4 or 5 times. The lining (hibaku) appears to be slightly yellowed.
