This is a set of two medium-sized bowls by Sanshin Otani (also written as Shinsan Otani) of Kurashiki Glass. These were stored for a long time at my grandmother's house, but as there are too many to use, I am selling some to organize them. I believe the charm of Mr. Sanshin Otani's work lies in the strength you can feel within the gentle roundness. As they are handmade folk crafts, the size of each one is different, and the air bubbles and carbon inclusions that occur during the manufacturing process are also charming. There are no major scratches acquired after purchase, but as they have been stored for a long time (unused), please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things.
