The rubber area of the outsole has been increased, improving grip. Developed to be non-slip on various road surfaces, both on rainy and sunny days. In addition, rubber is placed on the toe area, which is prone to stress and wear, improving grip and durability. The sole design reflects a pattern inspired by the "Hawthorne Bridge," the origin of the series name, around the arch of the foot. The midsole has improved cushioning, and the toe is slightly raised to make it less likely to trip. The design has been made to be easier to walk in. The upper uses canvas-like polyester fabric, which gives a good texture and also exhibits water-repellent function.
