I found this at my parents' house. I believe it's a miniature ashtray modeled after an iron pot. The removable lid says "Japan Airlines," and the bottom has "JAL." It's a JAL novelty item. I think it was a novelty item for business class or higher customers. The size is 6.2 cm in diameter at the top, 4.8 cm in diameter at the bottom, 2.6 cm in height, and 6.8 cm including the handle. It weighs about 130 grams. Because it's small, it's not suitable for practical use as an ashtray, and it was displayed in the back of a cupboard at my parents' house. It's an antique from about half a century ago, and there is some age-related deterioration. There are no noticeable scratches. Please understand that this is an old item before purchasing.
