The manufacturer and intended use are unknown. Although unconfirmed, it may have been for MD players or similar devices at the time, but this is not certain. It appears to be designed to hold two AAA batteries. There is also a terminal that appears to be an input jack for an external AC adapter (labeled DC2V). Since the operation is also unknown, I will consider it as a junk item. I don't think there are any noticeable large scratches, cracks, or stains, but there is a feeling of use. It will be shipped via Yu-Packet Plus Mini. I will use packaging materials to fit within these regulations (mainly thickness), but it may not always be sufficient.
