【Price Reduced】 This is a listing for the handmade guitar "Kisaragi" by Kazuo Yairi, of the renowned Japanese guitar brand "K. Yairi." It appears to be a very rare guitar, as they are rarely seen in circulation. After researching this piece, it is believed to have been manufactured in the 1960s. The discoloration and weather checking on the top give it the dignified appearance of a vintage guitar. The guitar label is handwritten in ink. At the time, Kazuo Yairi's works were graded using the seasonal calendar, and he produced guitars with names like Uduki, Yayoi, Kisaragi, and Mutuki. This particular piece seems to be a higher grade following Mutuki, and it appears to be a valuable guitar from before the K. Yairi brand was established. I own several vintage guitars, and I believe this piece was made with very good materials and careful craftsmanship. As it is a vintage guitar, there is some aging of the wood, numerous scratches, and rust on the metal parts, so please assess the condition from the photos. However, thanks to the excellent craftsmanship, considering its age, there is no bridge lift, and in my amateur opinion, it appears to be playable without any issues. The sound, likely due to the aging of the wood, has developed into a guitar with a deep, rich overtone and a wonderful, voluminous tone. The old hard case in the photos is included, but the zipper pull is broken, so a paper clip is used as a substitute. Please consider the case as an "extra."
