I own several of these simple models and have been using them for over 20 years, and they haven't broken down at all. No problems. I used to own several tattoo studios, but I downsized the number of shops, so I kept it stored. I'm listing it for sale because I probably won't use it anymore. I checked the operation before listing it, and there were no problems, and the stability is excellent.
