Thank you for viewing. Tanabe Vintage Japanese B♭ Trumpet Lightweight This is a "slightly damaged" item due to multiple dents on the bell and body, but it plays normally. Tanabe Seisakusho was a competitor of Nikkan. It wasn't the type of trumpet that was sold cheaply through magazine mail order back then. Nikkan was absorbed by Yamaha and expanded its sales channels, while Tanabe was forced to close due to a lack of financial strength... However, Tanabe's trumpets and saxophones have excellent form, design, and functionality! Personally, this is one of my favorite trumpets. The pistons are smooth. The tubing has been treated, with the lacquer removed using solvent, followed by stitching and brushing, and finished with unlacquered satin (brass). It is not a satin lacquer-style paint. In its current satin state, the sound is dry and jazzy, and it can be used in a variety of settings. There is no deviation in range or pitch. The mouthpiece is a YAMAHA 11C4, a standard mouthpiece. The soft case is new. The inside of the tubing has been soaked in a baking soda and citric acid solution and then cleaned, so it is hygienic and ready to play immediately upon delivery. Despite the bell and tube dents, it has a cool, jazzy sound that enhances performance! Thank you for your consideration.
