It spreads well and is mainly for running script and cursive works. It can be used from normal density to thick ink, and even ultra-thick ink as it ages, but it is not suitable for light ink. There are three types for Japanese washi paper artwork: Kuromatsu Shisha, Taishitsu Jowa, and Ryuki Hekiten, each with slightly different ink colors. Mineral direct-fired pine smoke Ink color: A slightly brownish-black with a hint of blue.
