I left it for a long time with the battery dead. I haven't checked if it works. I have used it before, so there are scratches, dirt, and discoloration on the belt. I applied clear nail polish to the case to prevent scratches, so I've left it as is. (I tried removing it with nail polish remover, but it made it dull, so I'm leaving it as is.)
