There are new, unused items, and some that have been used. Most are unused. As shown in the last photo, one bundle of green embroidery thread appears to be tangled, but I think it can be used by pulling it when you use it. I have checked it from a layman's perspective and haven't found any particularly noticeable scratches, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor details.
