This character logo was used from the late 1970s to the early 1990s, and since it was particularly common in the 1980s, it is believed to be from the late 1980s. The 100% cotton, slightly thick fabric is also a standard RJC specification from the 80s. After the late 90s, the fabric became thinner and production increased overseas. The coconut buttons are also commonly used in Hawaiian-made items from the 80s. Images 10 & 11 show that the finishing of the hem and sleeves is very neat. Size: Laid flat measurements: Width approx. 58cm, Length approx. 75cm Shoulder width approx. 48cm This is a rare black-based Aloha shirt for a vintage item, featuring iconic Hawaiian motifs (Diamond Head, Aloha Tower, King Kamehameha Statue, Hibiscus) with a very lovely color scheme. There are folding creases from storage, but as it was stored after cleaning, it is in exceptionally beautiful condition, almost unbelievable for an item of this age.
