This is an "Ijwaru Baasan" (Mean Grandma) karuta set. It appears to be quite old, with scratches and discoloration on the box, and signs of aging on the karuta cards themselves. Since the publisher is the now-defunct "Shimaisha" (Sister Company), it is believed to be a rare item. ▪️ I have confirmed that both the picture cards and reading cards are complete. ▪️ Stains were found on 13 cards (3 picture cards, 10 reading cards).
