A masterpiece of humor depicting the antics of a beautiful and talented female mystery club president who fancies herself a great detective in the field of mystery and detective stories she loves, but is actually a bit of a klutz, and a junior protagonist who admires her, along with their childhood friends and international students. The story is filled with ciphers, tricks, and "typical" mystery tropes, making mystery lovers chuckle. Also, as the title "Jaken!" suggests, the setting is Hiroshima, and local topics such as the Carp baseball team are also included.
