This is a tobacco set and small container made of cherry bark craft, a traditional craft of Kakunodate, Akita Prefecture. The metal parts appear to be Nambu ironware, but I'm not certain. I fell in love with it at first sight and purchased it during a trip to Akita in 1979. Since then, I have treasured it and kept it stored in the back of a display shelf. It is in very clean condition with no noticeable dirt, and it is beautiful and tasteful. I have decided to sell it as part of my end-of-life preparations. There is no box.
