This is a brush holder carved from old bamboo, dating from the Taisho to early Showa periods. The previous owner passed away in mainland China, so I believe it is of Chinese origin. Unfortunately, there are some damaged areas. Size: Height 14.7cm, Diameter 10.7cm. Please check the attached photos for signs of aging.
