This product is a reproduction model from around 2017. The "destroy" processing involves repeatedly applying wax to the suede side (reverse side) of the cow leather by hand, resulting in a finish that looks like top-grain leather. The initial models are considered to have very good quality and atmosphere, but even the black versions of the originals have variations, with some appearing greenish or purplish. Also, the stitching was often loose, and many pairs had the soles separating from the uppers, or the leather near the inner heels coming off. The reproductions tend to turn brownish with wear, but they are very easy to coordinate with black items. Also, although about 8 years have passed since their release, the soles and insoles of the reproductions are less likely to peel off.
