This item was found in the sample sale section of an Ellesse shop in Ochanomizu during the 1992 season. The shop staff explained that it was one of "several dozen pieces created as the final prototype sample before deciding on mass production, worn by models and used in photoshoots within the company." It's unknown whether it was ultimately mass-produced. I used it until the 2005 season, with a few years off for childcare. The hood is not removable, but it can be stored in the collar. The tag says "Snowboarding," but I used it as ski wear. The transparent plastic sheet on the left chest patch is sewn on but cracked (see photo 5). Also, there are noticeable stains on the back and the backs of both elbows, and the color has faded overall. Please understand that this item is over 30 years old.
