As shown in the 6th photo, there is a slight indentation on the back of the deep plate. Photos 9 and 10 show the brand name written on the back of the deep plate, but the letters were difficult to capture in the photos no matter how many times I took them. They are also difficult to read in person. When stacked as shown in the 11th photo, they look like soup plates you might find in a hotel.
