The Ogura/Shiota pair contributed to winning the silver medal in the women's team event at the Doha Asian Games last year, the first in 20 years, and also won a bronze medal in doubles. They consistently maintained a single-digit world ranking, making them top female athletes in Japan. The photography was done by Tatsuo Watanabe, a leading figure in the gravure world who has worked on nearly 200 photobooks for idols and actresses. This work goes beyond a simple athlete photobook, capturing the true faces of the two, including training scenes at national team training camps and their home (Sanyo Electric), their work attire, and meal scenes at the dormitory, which fans usually don't get to see. It is also a hot topic as the first official photobook authorized by the competition organization.
