(Mainly practiced on alto ocarinas, so the bass ocarina was used for about 15 minutes.) There were no practice sessions during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was kept in its case. I haven't used it at all since July 2024, as I switched to a different instrument. There are no noticeable scratches or stains on the ocarina itself, but there is a slight gap between the cushion on the front side of the hard case and the case body. (See photo 9) There is no problem with storing the ocarina, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. There is a slight scratch on the tip of the mouthpiece (the part that barely touches the lips) in photo 12. I noticed it recently. Maintenance may be possible at a specialty store, but it has no effect on the sound, so I have been using it as is.
