This is a custom-made fretless Jazz Bass from Fender Japan. It's a custom order based on the JB-62 (JBD-62), designed after the '62 Jazz Bass. The body is alder, with a maple U-shape neck and a slab rosewood fingerboard. Both the neck and body have "ORDER MADE" stamps, along with the model name JB-62FL (JBD-62). The neck date indicates it was made in 1991 at Fujigen. It's equipped with noiseless pickups. Noise countermeasures have been implemented in the cavities with shielding. While there are signs of aging and use, it has a vintage feel, like a light relic. The neck is straight, and there are some scratches on the fingerboard, as shown in the product photos.
