This is a set of Chinese calligraphy tools. It is a set of an inkstone (Gongyan) made by the Arts and Crafts Factory of Xiushui County, Jiangxi Province, ink stick, paperweight, brush rest, seal stone, and two brushes. Please note that the vermilion ink that was originally part of the set is missing. This was purchased in China about 30 years ago and has been stored at home for a long time. It is not certain how the ink got on the tips of the brushes and why the vermilion ink is missing.
