Judging by the skin tone, it appears to be from the 1930s. It seems to have been stored in a dark place, as it shows almost no effects of UV exposure. The outfit also appears to have never been removed. There is a paint chip on the left side of the head, which is common for bodies of this era. It seems there was a problem with the composition molded wooden form, and it was repaired and repainted with putty. However, the putty was too smooth, and it has peeled off over the years. The craftspeople of the time likely couldn't have foreseen this. Even so, this particular doll has a very beautiful face, even among my collection. It's the work of my favorite face painter.
