By moving the seam between the front and back panels to the back, the shoulder line is said to be a clean shape. The back yoke creates an opening. This opening is designed without buttons. I have made it according to the pattern, but if you are concerned about the buttonless opening, you can also attach a small hook and eye or a thread loop and a small button.
